In the heart of Josefstadt, Restaurant Bolena invites you to relax with a glass of selected wine and exquisite Mediterranean dishes and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

While we are very proud and satisfied with what we have achieved over the last few years, we are always striving for more. The focus is on the wellbeing experience of our guests and we try to improve this year after year.
Our chef, Domenic Rief, has been with us since day one. Initially as a kitchen assistant, now as a chef with several awards. Including 2 Falstaff forks and a Gault-Millau bonnet.
Our kitchen team is always on the lookout for something new. Be it when traveling, visiting other restaurants or leafing through gourmet magazines. What is considered “good” is picked up and incorporated into the creations of our dishes.
Team Bolena has actually grown together as a family. A large part of them has been with us for many years or right from the start. We're always there for each other. Both as colleagues and friends! Anyone who belongs to the team is part of the family. We are considerate of each other and help each other even when difficult times arise — be it for business or private purposes.

Restaurant Bolena Wien, located in the charming 8th district, offers you a place where pleasure and hospitality take center stage. We offer an exquisite selection of modern dishes, prepared with great attention to detail and using local ingredients whenever possible. We attach particular importance to the combination of fresh, regional products and the creative interpretation of modern cross-over cuisine.
